    Default Organizational skills?

Since I have started working from home I have ran into the problem of not using my daytimer anymore. I spend so much more time looking at the computer instead of my phone, schedule and watch. I am having a problem keeping track of the days of the week, believe it or not. I actually missed an appointment last Friday because I thought it was Thursday. What, if any, do you guys use to stay organized with time. I need something with pop ups or reminders for times of the day. Is Microsoftworks calender good enough. organizational

The calendar I use at school works pretty well. It has pop-up reminders that you can set so you can be reminded as little as fifteen minutes before your meeting/appointment, all the way up to a reminder 12-24 hours in advance.

Also, so you know what day it is put a calendar by your desk at home and maybe cross off the previous day when you're done? I used to have a huge calendar on my desk that was big enough to write notes on, it was like 3ft by 3ft...any office supply store will have one.
