...because it was after 10PM PST on a Monday night. Most games above maybe $50 big bet or 2/4 limit pretty much blow at this hour. My ego doesn't require playing a given stake just because I feel like gamb00ling.
...because I'm building up my LAgg style NL game and dropping $400 on a few bad reads would really suck. A game like this is a great chance to play in a little tougher game at lower stakes.

Anyway this just screamed random FTR lurker to me. He picked a reasonable spot to take a shot at me and did it with 74. Too bad he ran into a hand.

Maybe it's just that running into FTR folks at the tables who know who I am and I don't know who they are is getting to me...

The games are ALWAYS good if you have table selection, and can incorporate that into your game.

I played last night, and the games were just fine.
