So i just got to turningstone today, and i managed to loose a decent about of money at the 1/2 NL games. I'm really down on myself and my confidence is shot.
So basically just tell me how good i am even if you don't know the awesomeness of my poker game.

I played 1/2 NL at Foxwoods for 20 minutes and then said, wtf, where's my aim, 6 tables, tv, phone, and ftr forum. This is dumb, I quit. I then got up and drank and smoked cigars at the bar with my boss. At least you had the discipline to play. Besides, I don't read any other forum or know anything about what you play or have made but I still know you're a good player. Gotta count for something.

I played a £1-2 game and lost 50BB's over 5 hours. Live poker is slowwwwwwwwww and the variance will take forever to even out.

lol. Thanks a lot guys, I played in the 6-max tourny today and played very well, sadly i just didn't get the cards and busted out. I'm playing in the 1k tourny tomorrow hopefully i'll have better luck.

yea dude 3 BIs is nothing at all. the draw chasers at casinos go nuts with draws, if you hit some mildly bad variance you can lose a lot of buy ins. I would not worry about it at all. I think it was Renton that said to be properly rolled for live play you need over the 20 BI rule for online because a lot of times you are going to be playing deeper after building a stack and as always variance is a bitch.

I'm glad it was only 3 buyins, I was thinking 6+. You gotta be able to easily shake off 3 buyins playing live because that's nothing! Good luck in your donkament! I love live donkaments sooo much.
