I'd watch the British version if I could understand half of what those Brits are saying.

as it is, American version is funny as hell. One of those shows that it really helps to watch all the shows to get some of the subtle jokes/story line/character humor, since the straight up punch lines are usually not so obvious/funny.

lol it took me quite a while to get used to their accents/speed (omg they talk fast). one thing i noticed in the british version was lots of physical similarities (facial stuff mostly) between jim and the british version's equivalent.

same is true for Monty Python movies. For sure I end up rewinding at least 5 scenes cause I have no idea what the hell just happened.

I was a big fan of the british Office and I am a big fan of the US Office. I see them as two different entities and I have no problem laughing at both. However I think that David Brent was a far bigger cunt than Michael Scott can ever be.

Kevin's the only character I don't like. He's good for those looks people shoot around the office at certain points but he's never spoken a line I thought was funny.

I think my favorite Office moment was in Season 3 (??) Mike got dumped so the guy's took him to that Japanese restaurant to cheer him up and Dwight is sat far away from everyone. Then Jim gets him to start shouting at the waitress how to properly gut a goose. The story's obviously a little more intricate but if you saw the episode you know that part anyway and I didn't feel like writing it all out.
