I found this site about a week ago, it's *exactly* what i've been looking for recently. I've been playing home games steadily for awhile and online poker seemed a little mysterious... Reading the guides and posts have made me start to feel much more confident in my game. I used to play Magic: The Gathering heavily (and for profit ) like David Williams (I knew him before he was famous!). My MtG skills really broke through when I started reading internet forums about the game, let's hope for the same effect on poker!

Just finished my second tourney ($5 sng) ever on pokerroom, got 3rd and 2nd so far. Everything is sunshine and fuckin' lollipops right now. See you guys around the board!

Welcome! I used to play MTG too way back in the day...but dont tell anyone. In fact, I almost bought a booster pack the other day out of nostalgia.

My last deck was the covetous dragon deck though...I loved that thing though.

Any idea on what this old black lotus thingy is worth??




Damn...I should have bought one of those when they were goin for like $600
