I dont know what to say.... kramer is such a great character. I wish I had never seen this. I almost feel bad for him, I honestly think he was trying to go somewhere with this, but he didnt pad the joke right so it came off way too offensive and he couldnt reach the punch line. Then he got shook up when the audience got upset and tried to 'stay in character' if that makes sense in this application of the phrase.
Or maybe he just went nutso and really is a racist pos... after all the number of black characters cast on seinfield throughout all its seasons could be counted on my hands..

When your career goes in the toilet, you reach for straws. This one is the straw that broke a career. I don't think he's racist, racists have better lines and comebacks. I think he just snapped, and didn't know what to say to hurt the heckler so the only thing he could think of was that. I'd bet it was the first time he said it outside of a joke.

I use firefox too (in Windows). Didn't work for me (the images didn't show up correctly, and the music didn't play at all). Maybe it's one of my various media plugins interfering with it.

Okay, I figured it out. I have a flash-blocker set up so I have to click on a flash control to make them go. I clicked on this one, but apparently there is a second hidden one that is impossible to click on because of the layout of the layers. After disabling the flash-blocker it worked in ff too.
