ok one of the things I hate about bad drivers is when you're cruising down a main road, and they are coming to a stop from an adjacent side street. A reasonable driver will slow down and come to a complete stop with plenty of room to spare. A stupid maniac will barrel down and slam on the breaks at the last minute so they can get on hero's road ASAP and turn right (or left, whatever) right behind you.
My old approach was to give them plenty of room, you know, practice safe driving or whatever. My new approach is to immediately shift direction and head STRAIGHT towards them, stepping on the gas if needed.
