This is from Chuck Palahniuk (writer of Fight Club). He writes some really fucked up shit. I like what I've read in the past.
I've heard stories about this story. He claims that 75 people have passed out at public readings of this story. I doubted that, but after reading (and I'm not even done yet) I'm starting to believe it.
This will gross you out. I won't be surprised if one or two people make it through OK, but it is SICK!
OK, enough lead up. It's called Guts, here it is:

If it was a picture I might not be so disgusted. But the time it takes to read the details allows my imagination to see it too well.

The pump pulling out the intestine was pretty sick. It wasnt by any means vomit inducing or stomach cringing, but it saved the poll from a "that was supposed to be gross" pick.

I agree with the whole video being a lot grosser thing. If you offered a link to the video...I'd actually probably watch it...the whole thing...with a disgusted look on my face.

I'm reading this book right now.
I read that story & then remembered a thread about a gross chuck story, and I'm not surprised to find that was the one you were referring to.
The whole book is pretty good.
The one about the old man in the old folks home Is great.
