Ill start off with what has been working for mear this year, the NFL

NFL: 9-3 so far this year
Seattle +2 at Washington
TB -6.5 vs Detroit
GB +8 at Carolina

I hate picking against my 'skins but they have looked OK at best this year. That ugly first week game vs the Bears then falling ass backwards into a win on MNF vs Dallas, a game dallas should have clearly won. Seattle is the better team here. I worry about their run game against Washingtons D but i think they win this game outright.

TB has looked good so far this year while the lions have looked like their usuall average team. I think that TB D plus their new found running game get the win here easily.

Ok Farve has to win and i think this may be his spot. Carolina has had an up and down year so far. But i think GB is due to win or compete in a good game.

NCAA: 1-3 so far
Pitt pck at Rutgers
VT -11 at West Virginia
Nebraska -3 Iowa St.
Florida/Alabama Under 49
UTEP -3 Memphis

I think beating the crap out of a cupcake last week was just what Pitt needed to get their game back. I look for them to easily win this game on the road.

Virginia Tech is one of the best teams in the nation going against an average WV team with a couple of easy wins under their belt. VT is looking to prove every game that they belong in that Title game vs USC at the end of the year. The VT defense has looked so fast and on this year is scary. This is alot of points to lay against a team that has given them trouble in the past but ill take it.

Nebraska -3. Im buying the hook here. Just have this feeling that they are coming to play this week in a home game. Plus Iowa st didnt excately impress me last week at army.

Two good D's in the FL/AL game. And they have a history of scoring 48 or lower when they meet.

UTEP should win this one going away.

well thats what im leaning on for now. Eyeing one other NFL game (oak/dallas) and a few college. Ill let you know later if anything comes of them.

Good luck everyone!

Right now i'm lookin at the SanFran money line over arizona... its not even a home game for the cards and the have looked like absolute shit this season, while the 'niners have only looked bad in one game against philly, agueably the best team in the NFC. Look for SanFran to dominate in New Mexico this sunday

I like most of your picks MasterB, In fact in the NFL picks I think you're looking really good. You might look into one of those bonus parlays where they add the points (some places call them teasers)...I'd group those together and go big (as I run to sportsbook.com). NCAA picks, I'm actually going to disagree with you on Iowa St. I think that's a program on the rise...Their win vs Iowa isn't looking as strong as it did at first but they were conference champs last year. In addition, Nebraska has had an easy road thus far.

I'd also recommend looking at alum Washington State this weekend. +2 @ OSU...Same team that got pummelled 63-17 (estimate) by Louisville (who lost to S. FLA last week). Go Cougs!
Listen, here's the thing. If you can't spot the sucker in your first half hour at the table, then you ARE the sucker.

I decided against taking TB in the NFL. I also am not taking Nebraska in the NCAA after reviewing the game more.

The only additional game i added was Oak -3 in the NFL for a small play.

Good luck guys!

NU +3 is a horrible pick. Take ISU for the points and the win.

well i had an average week. went 1-1 in the NFL after swapping out TB for Oakland. I went 2-2 in the NCAA after deciding against nebraska wich was obviously a mistake. oh well. i still have GB tonight in MNF so hopefully that will put me over .500 for the week. Hope everyone else had a good week!

NFL year to date: 10-3
NCAA year to date: 3-5

Atleast your Skins pulled one out thanks to the Seahawks destiny of always being a losing franchise. I'd argue to say that being a Seahawk fan is as miserable as anything. It's just unbelievable how much bad luck we have, including hitting the crossbar on Sunday. Well we'll take another hit against a sup-par team like Washington. Pretty tough to swollow the fact we let a Has-been like Brunell own us (13/18 on 3rd downs and 40 minutes of TOP).

you got that right. been a tough life. Payed out of my ass for tickets to watch them shut up the local skins fans. Would have been money better spent on a 12 pack and new airpump for my blowup girlfriend.
