Gamegsurge has crapped out on many of us. The server has gone down. I want to say thank you to dwarfman for trying to set up for DALnet but unfortunately I dont think we are unable to host it there because of the connection errors some may recieve.
Therefor I am on for the search for a new server. If you have any suggestions please post them here pm me with them.
The server must be easy to use and have a great connection background...

Definetly Quakenet. I'm a regular there since 1999 and there are rarely problems over there. Only setback is we can't officially get the Q bot, but L is good enough.
Also, DALNET is alot of problems imho.
Quakenet or undernet all the way.

Ake has kindly set up a #flopturnriver channel on QuakeNet. We have also now got a bot in there like ChanServ.

In any screen, type
/s -m b0rk.uk.quakenet.org -j #flopturnriver.
This should take you right to our channel on QuakeNet.

The reason for the move
Gamesurge has been a disconnect maniac due to script kitties, putting attacks on gamesurge and causing net splits and disconnects. Please PM me with any questions of how to connect to Quakenet. Basically the same way as you connected to gamesurge
