Post subject: New baby girl

My GF just gave birth to a baby girl at 6:22 AM yesterday morning, 08/24/06. Her name is Makayla Anne and she weighed 7 lb 1 oz. This was my first child it was definately the hardest thing i ever had to watch. She was in labor for 8 1/2 hours and i thought she was going to break my hand a couple times. Im back off to the hospital but may post pictures when i get back.

Nothing like a little Daddy's girl, trust me.
Terry--my best tip is this. Don't play until they are asleep for the night. Spend as much time as possible with them. Of course, this won't apply right off as Mom will need lots of help and baby's schedule won't settle in for a while. But it's a rule of thumb I use and it seems to work out okay.

Were just taking it one step at a time, Im just starting college this year so were going to wait and just let everything happen. No need to rush as of right now, and we definately dont need to spend any more money than we have too.
As for the pics, ill post them as soon as i get the camera back.
