That was a sick fun game though. Bama is just a cool football team to play. I wish we just had 8 straight weeks of Bama v VT. We'd prolly go 1-7 but it'd be a lot of fun.
Of course, we'll prolly drop to 15 but it doesn't matter. We do it every year, get ranked in the top 10, plummet real quick and then spend the rest of the year climbing back only to reclaim our top 10 ranking after our bowl game.

I kinda wish people would stop calling the BYU game a giant upset. OU was not #3 level on offense (at least in terms of discipline) and BYU managed two touchdowns and won by a point FFS. OU couldn't really attack their biggest weakness (middle of their defense) because our backup tight end had to play center instead...Can't help but think Gresham+Bradford=blowout but Backup+run every play=ez game for defense.

No Bradford or Greshman means these teams were probably fairly matched, but who would have guessed Stoops disappointed on a big stage against someone not wearing burnt Orange.

I admittedly missed most of the game but I heard Blake DeChristopher (O-line) fucked up quite a bit for Tech. Went to high school with him so my friends and I try to keep an extra eye out but just heard he played poorly and got some penalties...even two penalties in one play. Nice...
And it sickens me to have to pull for the Hokies somewhat now for my gf. But my cousin goes to Bama so have to say I was pulling for them. ACC came ready to play this season!

NU travels to Blacksburg. I think we have about a 1 in 4 chance of pulling the upset. It would overtake the victory over Clemson in the bowl game last year as the best win in the Pelini era. I didn't get to watch VT play this season but Nebraska is much improved from when they played last season.
