I was playing in a $3 turbo tourney $250 garunteed, with only 34 players in (else i wouldnt have gotton in).... about half way through the tournament, i was 4th in chips, when my internet died out... and it didnt come on again so i went to bed. This morning when i woke up, i had $30 added to my poker account...

Anybody think this is an error, should i just take the money and run, or do you think people were actually stupid enough to NOT suck me out of my chips (only top 6 got money, therefore i must have been 5th or 6th)

request the history to see what happened. it's entirely possible the site's server went down and everyone auto-blinded, finishing right where they were when you got plonked

Never underestimate the stupidity of the population at large.

Get some hand histories and find out.

no I think the server crashed and/or your interenet did die as well. I have seen it where my cable modem will go down or even the server will go down but my internet is still up.

.... then i had a huge string of bad cards and worse beats... it got so bad, i acted like i was on my last buy-in, and somebody actually gave me enough for a buy-in after 3 straight 1-out beats (Jack of hearts [i watched a royal flush beat my house], the last 2 for 4 of a kind, and JJ catching a J when i had JQ on a Q x x x flop) he gave me $50 for my buyin, thats how bad my beats were haha! so on the whole i only blew about $30 (won a little with that buyin then left)
