Hey gang, My wife is interested in maybe playing this year. Are there any problems with signing up 2 people from the same address (both physical and IP) and can I fund her account from my Neteller account?

Or should I just keep her money and tell no , she would just lose what I give her anyways.
Thanks SC
Holy crap I cant play against Yoda!!

Golfer, she's a keeper.

You could just have accounts on different party skins. Not sure about the Netteller buisness.

I dont want to play under the same, because using PT and other things would be a pain, though I guess I could have her not turn on the PT and keep track of the money she uses (or loses ).
Im going try to have her set up a Party account tonight. We will see what happens. I imagine this is not going to be a problem because many couples have to play at the same site. I also want her to be able to build a BR with the bonuses, she wouldnt be able to if she used my account.

There is no way that neteller thing will work. You need it to be registered to the same email address for it to work on party now or it will never approve a transaction. If you have her down with the same email maybe it will work but I highly doubt it with the same skin cause they will say its already registered or something. Id just have her open up her own neteller account on a different checking account or something. Those are hella bonuses she would get you dont want to be missing out on.

On PokerRoom I've funded my wife's account from my Neteller account without issue. I was actually suprised it worked, but all they want is the Secure ID and the account number and voila.

One of the other sites I play at (can't remember which one) allows you to to transfer funds between any other user on the site, which is kind of nifty.

I ran into the same thing with my wife. God bless 'em.

What I ended up deciding is I need to give her an existing account, or make a new one at a new poker room. Go somewhere new and set up a new account. I offered, but my wife decided she'd rather just mooch off my accounts. She has only been playing .10/.25 limit tables, so I'm OK with it.
I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

DavSimon is an unknown quantity at this point
I funded my wife's Stars account with a transfer, but as she gets better we will set her up her own Neteller account so she can get the bonuses from setting up a new account. We have never tried to play at the same table - I am sure it would not work...be we do play at the same time - She usually plays .05/.10 or .10/.25...and I am usually playing SnGs and MTTs at Stars. So there is no issues with us being on at the same time.

Not if you take the time to teach her....my wife was horrible at first but after just a few hand-holding sessions she was killing the .05/.10 tables. I gave her $100 and she has now worked it up to about $160. I told her when she hits $200 she can start playing $5 SnGs....all in all she is very willing to learn and try to play correctly.

My wife and I have separate Neteller accounts setup and it works really well. Also, she likes playing SnG's MTT's, and I just like playing limit ring tables. So when she isn't playing I play limit ring games on her account to clear her bonuses. When the bonuses clear, she asks where she should go and play next for the signup bonus. Kind of fun, my wife the bonus whore. Probably the only time where your wife being a whore isn't really a bad thing. One thing though to remember with Neteller ... if you lend your wife part of your bankroll by transferring to her Neteller from yours ... Don't expect your loan back until her bankroll is high enough, $400 - $500 so that she can get maximum bonuses. Also, there's a transfer fee transferring money between the two Neteller accounts I believe. Just my two cents. Have fun.
