One day, just after 2nd semseter started, I was on my computer when the RD of my dorm and the head of campus safety came to my room and said they needed to search my room. Apparently my roommate was caught on campus w/ a bunch of guns in his car and they were looking for his weed. Soon the Grand Rapids police came with 2 huge search dogs and searched the room as well. They didn't find anything (I knew my roommate didn't keep anything in my room as my college is super strict about that). But he spent the night in jail and was kicked out of college. The rest of the year I had the room to myself which kicked ass.

I lived with a buddy of mine who I knew from high school. He was the momas boy type. He moved out with me when he was 21 for the first time from his parents house. I had been living there with an EX and needed a roomie for financial purposes after we broke up. He agreed to move in to help me out. It was fine for the first few months, no complaints...no major ones anyways. Him and his GF used to spend lots of time togeather and his GF got to know my new GF (whom I am still with) everything was gravy...they hung out yada yada....well I knocked my GF up and was expecting a baby. He found out and was happy for me... Well the baby came and things changed a bit.This was her fisrt kid as well as mine and I wanted to be as big a part of it as she was, so I asked him if he would mind if my gf stayed with us for a few days, then I would go to her house on the weekend cuz she used to live almost an hoour from me and I needed to stay close to home for work. he was cool with that and by this time his GF left him and he didnt do much but play comp and vids. I was cool with that, as long a you pick up after yourself and pay your bills. This went fine for the first month or so, she would stay during the week and I would go on the weekends. Well one day he came to me and told me she could not come over with the baby any more because he gets woken up during night feedings...I was calm at first...I asked him if he meant that I just go there on the weekends and not see my newborn kid for days at a time and leave her to do everything...His answer...."Pretty much...yea.."..now I was a bit mad. I pointed out the fact that this was MY apartment (so the lease said) and I could do whatever the fuck I wanted to. He didnt like that. He then got a pissy attitude and grabbed a game controller out of my hands.....he said "OK...dont touch my shit then..." that was his first mistake...being that I had lived there 2 years prior to him comming and everything in that place was mine except whatever was in his room. I told him not to touch any of my stuff...which includes the couch u are sitting on, the table ur drink is sitting on, the plate your supper is on...grabbing it off the table and scraping it on to his play station. This activated the riot...it was ugly...he was smaller that me but he had heart....poor fella....after I kicked the shit out of him I threw his baseball hat out the patio door, along with his sneakers and told him to leave. His t shirt was torn and hanging off and it was the middle of November.. half a foot of snow on the ground....he wanted to go get a sweater but I would not let him back in...he stood out on the deck for almost an hour banging and shit. I finally got pissed off and walked out the back door, snuck up behind him with a big bucket full of water and soaked him. I then advised him that if he didnt find somewhere to go and get worm soon hypothermia may set in and it was 10 minutes to the closest gas station. He left cursing me up the road. I pack his shit that night and left it on the patio.....whit a piece of paper .."EVICTION NOTICE" written in big black sharpie marker...I havent heard from him since.

He did not use soap when he showered, and didn't brush his teeth. Needless to say he stunk really-really bad.

We let him stay in our apartment during the summer while we were all back at home. One weekend I made a surprise visit to hang out and what I found in my apartment was truly disgusting. There were nine bags of trash INSIDE the apartment that he was too lazy to take down to the dumpster (didn't smell too great). Upon going in the kitchen I said something like, "WTF is that smell?" He replied with, "I don't know, man, it just started stinking one day and I can't figure out what it is." Within ten seconds I "found the problem." He had thrown away a few slices of pizza and some sort of lasagne dish into the dishwasher.....only thing was the dishwasher was broken. There was a slimey green substance growing inside. Think "Slimer" from Ghostbusters.

This guy never washed his socks...he would wear them until they started stinking and then he threw them under his bed. He had boogers all over his walls from when he'd pick his nose at night...

Goddamn I could go on and on about him.

How did he come to live with us? He was the most hilarious guy ever, loved to party (he went out EVERY night of the week). He needed a place to stay and he was cool, so we let him move in.

He was a great drinking buddy but there were quite a few times I literally wanted to kill him.
