I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Lol. If he's a friend, and he'll never be good at poker, tell him to steer clear. If he could become a winning player, tell him to play.

If you would really get more joy seeing your friend go bankrupt to faceless poker grinders than seeing him get off his arse and get a proper job and leave gambling to others, then by all means, encourage away.

I've always been a fan of telling the honest to goodness truth.

Girlfriend:
Why are the werewolves more important than living life?!

Girlfriend:
Are you on the forums doing the werewolves again?

Girlfriend:

If he's your friend and you don't think he'd make it, you should obviously tell him to steer clear.

I've done this with several of my better friends who I know would only feed the fish pool. Too bad one of them didn't listen anyway...but he has money to burn (I think).

I tried to get one friend in, he's so bad I realized I should never help anyone I know unless they approached me. He's been playing $3 turbos on stars for over a year.
