I'm looking for a new monitor set-up. I want to be able to 6-table without (or with only a little) overlap. I'd like to do this on one monitor if possible.
Right now I'm using a two-monitor set-up. Both monitors have low resolution, but I was able to 8-table back in the day pretty effectively (as long as my seats at the table were in the right place). I'm 4-tabling across two monitors now without much overlap, but I'd really like to get this to just ONE screen...
Cost is an issue, I don't want to get anything too ridiculous...
Anyone have any ideas? What's your set-up (or your ideal set-up) like and why is it so badass?

They have them on eBay as well.
You should have a vid card with dvi out in order to get the best picture from one of these.

Does 4 tables perfect @ 1600*1200 and looks great also. I'm very happy with it.

And only the 30" dell can do that, but it costs 2000$ and youll most likely need a new motherboard because Im almost positive you need dual vid cards to ru nthis monitor, it actually fools your computer into thinking its a dual monitor setup.

you cant 6 table on a 24. i have 2 and its nice. considering getting a 3rd.
btw shaun98si, samsung makes the best panels by far. the only reason SOME dells are good is because they use sammy panels. the 24's do, im not sure about the dell 20s although i doubt it.

He did say a little overlap would be ok.
You just need a newer vid card that has two outputs, not two vid cards.

you dont need dual vid cards you just need a card with dual link dvi. that isnt the same as 2 dvi ports.
i know for a fact the 7800 series+ can do it, maybe the 6800 too. ati sucks so i wouldnt know about their compatible lineup.

ati was good... but now that theres sli.. well.. unless ATI can figure something out so they can be sli compatable.. they are just gonna fal lbehind.
Anyways, I think Im just gonna get 2 20" dells, then I can 8 table or atlesat have enough room to if I wanted to, for the cost of 1 24" which can 6 table but has overlap...

Ok, I'm a computer illiterate moron, but I'm sure someone can explain this to me. I was just given a new computer, but I'm currently using the same monitor. I was 4 tabling at a max resolution of 1600 x 1200, but now with the same 5 year old 19" CRT I can 6-table with a little overlap at 2048 x 1536. I thought max resolution was a function of the monitor itself...? Or is it the vid card, or both?
