Yeah so I try to be on time with my bills but I forget about them every no and then. Well I guess I must have missed 2 deadlines on my electric bill. Today I left work, stopped by the Asian market to pick up shrimp, a sweet potato and some tempura mix, got home and OH NOEZ!! What did tehy do to my electricities!!!
I was going to hang out in my ballapartment and watch a movie, then go out drinking with my buddies. Instead I'm chilling at the school library on Friday night like a damn loser, and I can't stay out too late drinking because I have to be up by 9 AM tomorrow morning to let the electricity man in and my alarm clock obv isn't working. So I'll probably just go to bed when the library closes.
This is the second time I've gotten service cancelled for being a moran. A few months ago my Internets got shut off. Now I have all my bills set up on auto-payment except for my electric bill which doesn't let me do that for some reason.
Is anyone else here too lazy and stupid to pay his bills on time? I can't be the only degen here who's too busy sitting on my ass to get shit done.

If i were you, id search the net for some sort of pop-up reminder system. Take 10 minutes after you install, write a list of important stuff like bills down. then set it up so that you will be reminded with ample time.
Dont look for others who are messing up like you are, youll only reaffirm your bad habits by thinking "well, at least im not the only one..."

Or just take the 5 seconds to pay your bill online when you open it.

PG&E doesn't let me pay online for some reason. If I could set it up to get done automatically (like I do with the rest of my bills) I would do that for sure. Not that that's any excuse because the other payment options take about 5 seconds also.

I've never missed two months for utilities. I used to miss one month all the time, but then I'd get the next bill which would be way big so I'd pay it right away.
My cellie I've missed 3 months with no problems. I've been with the same provider for 3 1/2 years, not sure if that matters.

You mean you can't set it up with your bank account so you can go online and pay the electric bill through your bank? I don't see how they wouldn't allow that as it's the exact same as you walking into the bank and paying your bill there.

I forget to pay my internet bill all the damned time. Usually takes them an automated phone call to remind me.
Same with blockbuster videos. Theyre usually converted to purchases before I remember to return them. Hurray for no late fees man or I'd be busto!

how long has it remained unpaid?
Cutting you off if you miss a bill by a week is like well harsh, and probably illegal (although you lot over there let corps get away with this shit)

cutting you off after a week is def illegal, it had to be over a month late I think, and even then, I thought utilities have to stay on a lil longer, but idk.

Hooray, I'm back! I made a picture with MSPaint to celebrate.

Galapogos: The only easy way to pay them is to call them up and read them off my routing number, my bank account number, and a check number. I tried to pay them by mailing them a check once, and another time I tried to pay them online with my bank account, but both payments were rejected after about a week so I called them and asked what the hell was going on and they said that they don't accept those methods of payment (WTF). You can also go to one of their pay stations and pay them in person but who wants to do that. Altogether I was about 5 weeks late before they pulled the switch on me.

Yes, when I have to be up at 9 AM to let the repairman in, and my alarm clock doesn't have power, I'm not going to stay out until 3 or 4 AM drinking like I would have. Is that bad?

No I had to let him in the front gate. I don't want to live in one of those apartments where people who don't live there can just walk right up to your door.

The trick is to go out drinking, and stay up drinking till 9am to let the repairman in and talk drunk shit to him while he fixes the place and offer him a can of beer.
