Post subject: Missed TribalWars? Want to try Artifact?

I missed the TribalWars boat by a longshot, but I remember this game called Artifact that was inherently similar but a bit more faster paced. Its not played in your browser, they have their own client, but its a non-graphical intensive game -- but its a bit more graphically involved than TribalWars.
Anyway, its essentially the same thing as tribalwars except there are also things called Artifacts that are hidden randomly around the world that if you find, you get a big power boost in certain areas.
The games also don't last as long, and as mentioned, are faster paced. There are also a lot more of them, so we can just pick which one we want to join.

I haven't played for years, but TribalWars brought back fond memories.

I have to say this game appeals to me more than Tribal Wars. When the Tribal Wars threads came up, I told myself I was going to avoid it because I get way too addicted to these type of games for my own good. But I don't know if I can resist another game like this. I'll probably end up joining this game either later today or tomorrow.

Yea but new players are constantly joining so you have the advantage over them =) I still haven't decided if TW is fun yet, but it seems to get more enjoyable as you grow.

P.S. I know I said I would join this game, but upon further thought I decided it's in my best interest to continue to avoid games like this, because they really do take up too much of my time without as valuable of a reward as my other addictions (e.g. poker). Sorry.

the only problem with TW is when you wake up at 5am to take a piss, you log on to tribal wars and spend 30 mins and cant get back to sleep.

And yes, if you were to start now, you would have noob protection until you got up n running.
