What mids do you think can win a game or 2 in the tourney? (Not Gonzaga).
It's fun to guess, and it can get you some value in your brackets.
Too bad that some of my favs are in real tough 1st round games - eg,
Kent St v Pitt,
Iona v LSU,
S Alabama v Florida.
(Way to reward these conference champs!!)

Wichita St is seeded better than Seton Hall - so, I guess you could say they're a good shot. But then they'd likely face a tough UTenn team.

I would love to see SIU beat WVU. Especially if Gansey is still gimpy, they have an ok shot there. But then they'd likely run into a hot Iowa team.

Can any mid get to the Sweet 16? Who do y'all see??

Would also really enjoy seeing George Mason smoke an MSU team that's being hyped on tourney mystique alone. Too bad they're playing w/o Senior guard Tony Skinn.

SDSU is decent shot to beat Indiana, and they could make a run since they'd face Zags or Xavier - both teams w/ major weaknesses. 6'1o center Mohamed Abukar is gimpy though, and that hurts a team that isn't doing much from outside.

Guys like this http://www.hoopsjunkie.net/blog718/
say that Bradley has a good chance to upset Kansas and make some noise, but I don't see it. They are too similar to Kansas imo, but w/ largely inferior talent.

UWM over OK? If UWM were a little stronger at guard, maybe. OK's bigs look like too much in this matchup. I suppose the tempo could mean trouble for a team that got outrun by Nebraska.

That's all I've looked at. Still can't find that one to make the run.
