He faked his death!!! He did it to escape his debts, legal woes, and crazy ass fans that have stalked him his entire life. A Michael Jackson impersonator (Boogey Jenkins) died last week, and the Jackson camp has had him on ice since. The autopsy will be faked, documentation forged, and Boogey's body buried in Michael's place. Trust, Jacko will be spotted here and there for years to come.

It sucks to say this but certain people, no matter how messed up they are, have natural abilities that transcend and overtake their drawbacks. Michael Jackson in his prime was the greatest entertainer in the history of mankind. It doesn't matter if you think he molested children or not, he should be remembered for the greatness that he embodied for so long. There are dozens of examples of individuals with extraordinary god-given talent and seemingly unforgivable personal drawbacks that are now considered undeniably important in the grand scheme of history. Michael Jackson should be one of them.

pretty crazy stuff. my wife and I went up for a BBQ at a friend's house, and all twelve of us were watching some news channel that was chronicling his life. We're all 28-32 years old, too young to know Michael Jackson in his prime, and here we are transfixed on this guys life/death. he was a spectacle, that's for sure.

Sure he was a great entertainer, but he was also a delusional douchebag who probably fucked children. He was also rich, lived an extremely high class life, and our sympathies should not be wasted on him. Today 1 billion people across the globe are starving, millions are being falsely imprisoned, murdered, raped, enslaved, diseased, etc on a daily basis. If we sympathize over anybody, we should sympathize over them, not some primadonna, mentally deranged princess who was probably a horrible sex criminal
And for the love of god, news channels need to stop doing nothing but running this story and interrupting previously scheduled programs to sob over this piece of garbage. At least Jim Lehrer didn't succumb to this retardation. I wanna see every one of these fucking channels get interrupted every time a soldier or civilian in Iraq/Afghan/Pak dies. Or every time an African child is raped because of the popular superstition that virginity cures AIDS, or every time a falsely imprisoned/executed person is posthumously exonerated...

yo I agree with a lot of the stuff you said at the end of your post, but the guy was an iconic figure. he was bigger than Elvis Presley, bigger than anything.......ever. I'm only 29 (almost 30........fuck), but there was a generation that followed him religiously. He was the goddman man, he was the show-stopper, the best entertainer (what some say) ever.
Yeah, he was a pretty fucked up guy in the end, but he was a beyond-famous guy that was fucked up, and he died suddenly, that's why it's such a huge story.

I think many people take death too seriously (regardless of who has bit the bullet).
He made a lot of good music but made a lot of shit as well, so I can't get too worked up about this.
As for what happens now, the media (particulary TV news) will queue up a line of people to lick his ass and his extremly dodgy past will be completely whitewashed.
