    Dwayne.

    Wade.

That game last night was something else. Wade is SICK. He looked positively Jordanesque at the end of the 4th and all through overtime - just would not let the Heat lose.

At least with the Howard fiasco there wasn't a technical foul. Yes, burning the last timeout to ice Wayde and not get the ball at half court hurt but it wasn't as bad as when Webber called a to at Michigan and they didn't have any left...

I am a very sad Mavs fan today...misappropriated use of the hack-a-shaq, Dirk misses a clutch freethrow, Howard misses TWO clutch freethrows, idiotic ref call with 1.9 seconds to go with Wade throwing up a prayer (granted he's rocked the last 3 games), ridiculous TO call to close out the game.

It's not over til it's over, of course. And I expect the Mavs to win game 6...but man that last one just had me throwin up in my mouth. Of course, I'm sick as a dog and I was drunk as hell last night to boot.

Common big performances from Terry and Stackhouse and an embarrassed Howard in game 6 to give us a shot after a ridiculous loss. And no more BS from the refs plz.

I watched not really caring for one side or the other and I didn't think the officiating at the end was horrible.

    Wade played well.

No doubt Wade played extremely well...no point in arguing the last call of the game...that wasn't the only thing that cost us the deal. Ah well.

I'm happy for Shaq and the Heat! I thought winning 4 in a row against Dallas in the finals would be impossible...

I cant believe the heat won. I am still upset about game 5 and what happened down the stretch but what can you do, thats sports right. I was still not very impressed with the heats play though. Aside from one player having the series of his career they were very average at best. But i guess all you need is one extremely hot player to ride. GG DWade

Yeah, that's what happens when the refs rig the game.

    Fucking <s>party</s> refs:

"Getting within 1 foot of Wade, automatic foul : two shots"

    Bullshit...

and this is from a person who doesn't really like the Mavs at all to begin with for the raping they gave to my team in last year's playoffs.

Yeah, Zo was a beast!!! And DWade was just phenominal. I'm stoked for Zo, GP, DWade, and especially Shaq - he's still a Laker in my heart - congrats Heat!

Yea I cant think of a better C that doesnt start.

I knew the heat were going to win but I didnt think they would win 4 in a row, does anyone know how many times a team has won 4 in a row after losing the first 2 NBA final games?

They said that this is only the 3rd time in the history of the finals that a team has come back from 0-2 to win it. Not sure if either of the other 2 teams won 4 in a row to do it or not.

ONLY 1 OTHER TEAM HAS EVER WON THE 3 HOME GAMES IN A ROW EITHER...THAT WAS A HELL OF A SERIES - DALLAS WAS BY FAR!!! THE BEST TEAM, HANDS DOWN - THEY SHOULD HAVE WON 2 OF THE 3 GAMES IN MIAMI, BUT WADE JUST WOULDN'T ALLOW IT

TO SUM IT UP - you NEEEEVVVVVEEEERRRRRRRR!!!! pass the ball to Eric Dampier with under a minute to go - I don't care if the guy is wide open under the basket, I would rather have dirk shooting with 3 people in his face - Passing the ball to Dampier was just epic stupidity...Sad, because Dirk is a hell of a player, and he just kept deferring to his teammates...He needed to get a lot more than 4 shots up in the 4th period -

So this means that only 1 of the 2 teams that won the title after losing the first 2 games could have won the last 4 in a row right? Its most likely that the heat is the only team to do it then right?

maybe i wasn't clear - Since they went to a 2-3-2 finals format, only 1 other team had won the 3 home games in a row (the pistons did it) - so the heat are now only the 2nd team to ever do that -

the 4 games thing i just don't know about...

I understood, I was just trying to see if we could use that info the narrow down the chance that any other team has won 4 in a row after losing the first 2, but I didnt know that they had a different format before. What was the old finals format and how long ago did it change do you know?

Looks like 87-88 and the pistons/lakers series was the 1st one - I don't know why these little things are so hard to find
