MSN, AIM, Google talk, IRC and now Yahoo? Seriously, do we really need all these god damn messenger clients. I have been using MSN since that is what everyone in Canada uses. I got on AIM because of half the guys I know in poker are American and still follow the AOL's AIM client. I then discovered Trillian that does both and it has been great.
Now I have a Blackberry and RIM (blackberry) has it's own messenger for BB to BB conversation. Well now I have the MSN, Google talk and Yahoo clients on my BB as of this week but no AIM. So what's the story on this, should I wait for AIM? Is it dead? Should I get a Yahoo account now? I will be working a ton more so keeping in touch will be tougher. Does anyone use Yahoo Messenger?

Yea, I actually have it and never used it yet. Maybe I didn't make myself clear enough. Why is blackberry getting yahoo and not AIM? Does everyone still use AIM or are more people using yahoo now? FWIW, Trillian has Yahoo now too. I jsut want to have my BB available all day since I don't have computer access, but tons of time.

yahoo has been around for ever (not referencing mobile platforms).
I only have one contact on yahoo and he's a huge life fish. So, cum grano salis.

In my brief experience with Yahoo IM, only cam girls and porn spammers use it... I personally don't know anyone using it.

ok that's fine with me. I will use MSN only on my F'n Blackberry and wait to get home and use Trillian for my AIM.

Trillian beta fucks up my comp.
If I had AIM on my blackberry I am pretty sure it would explode
