I have to admit that I don't get why the fact that Millen already drafted two busts at WR should mean that he's not allowed to draft a WR ever again. Calvin Johnson won't be a bust, the Lions have bigger needs though.

Because it's FUNNY.....
Taking WR's like 4 years in a row I find comical. That's neglecting the rest of your team for nearly half a decade trying to fix ONE problem.

mistake #1) listening to what the media has to say about who is going to draft who, or who is going to draft who.
if Russell is taken #1 overall, Detroit would be smart to trade down, or take CJ with the intention of trading down. If no suitable trade happens (hard to believe considering TB, ATL, probably more), keep him. I know DET has grabbed 3 first round wideouts recently, but two were MAJOR busts.
that said, I think the lions are the team most likely to trade down and for good reason. Look for them to possibly grab Gaines Adams and some extra picks.
