My girl would probably cry at this.
True story, we went to a desolate place where a man fell of a cliff and got eaten by sharks recently. Anyway, its also a kind of junkyard, truly desolate and shit. In the midst of all that loneliness, we somehow saw a puppy, who was very tiny and malnutritioned. Its impossible for that puppy to have arrived there. There was also the stench of rotten flesh, indicating something dead nearby, probably the mother dog. She actually cried upon sight of this.

Actually, kinda the opposite. Certain psyches gravitate towards certain fields, and the military tends to garner attention from people who are more cruel than usual. In fact, militaries actually acknowledge that certain 'fucked in the head' personalities are fantastic for them. Dexter type people. They make the best killers. Some psychologists speculate that if people like Ted Bundy were used correctly in the military they possibly would have never become serial killers. On top of that, they would probably not be the type to suffer from any kind of combat disorders, and would not hesitate in combat

The video is actually quite funny, fake or not.
The combination of the dog yelping on the way down then the thud+silence is good, add to that the other dude saying something like "you're a dick" is great b/c it's not like he stopped him. Had this been in a movie you would have chuckled, but since it's real life I'm supposed to care? It's a fucking dog, there are billions of them in the world, and they serve very little purpose. Saying that throwing an innocent dog of a cliff is worse than an innocent human is ridiculous, people>dogs ainec.

I am pretty sure that the "Dexter" type you mentioned is an extreme minority. I am referring to the majority of people that join the armed forces and fall within a more normal range of behavior and mental health. I know individuals like this that did awful things during war and cannot even fathom how they could do such things when looking back years later after they had returned to society. Killing animals is often a feature of disorders like antisocial personality which stems from conduct disorder as a child/teen. So this guy either has some mental disorder (which is what you seem to be suggesting), he is sane, but war has f'ed up his head, or this is a fake (the dog never moves during the video could be dead before he tosses it).
p.s. people that have mental health issues such as antisocial personality disorder would have a tough time in the military b/c they have a real problem with authority and would have trouble following orders.

You all kill insects in arguably more gruesome ways than this, but who gives a fuck? No one does, nor should they. My only complaint with this fake video is that the person probably did it for no reason. Had he made some money off of it, IT'S QUITE POSSIBLY THE FUNNIEST THING EVER.
And if he ate the dog afterward, there wouldn't really be anything to bitch about. It's okay to breed an animal so you can kill it and eat it but if you're aren't doing that the flower children go apeshit.

While this video does look fake on second viewing, the issue isn't with killing an animal, but how it reflects on a human killing a certain animal.
While it's partially relative, somebody raised in US society likely anthropomorphizes and is more emotionally close to a dog than to a rat, and so killing them reflects on who the person is. Anybody who says that killing this puppy was cruel to the puppy doesn't know anything about nature, the wild, and how even their own actions result in way more suffering than the rather itty bitty amount this puppy would have if it wasn't fake
