 In the few times I've been scolded through email by a manager (usually asking for a file I already sent and they didn't see it in their inbox) they always start the message with "dude,"

I'm talking a sample size of 3 managers. Anyone else get this? Is it because I'm young?

 well, i'm not really insulted or anything, i've just noticed the only time i see dude in an email from a high up is when they're annoyed

 One of the three i've done that to because I'm comfortable with him and he'd probably laugh. The other two not so much.
