That's funny. I just saw this today. What are the odds?
I couldn't even look when he sucked the puss out of his arm. How can anyone do that? I once went to the emergency room at midnight because I thought a 1 inch cut on my chin got infected and I feared it would rot off my face if I wait until the morning to see a doctor.

Very old news to people in the bodybuilding know. Valentine looks hardly anything like that anymore. He's on quite the health kick and looking for alternatives to steroids because the FEDs are always all over his ass. He writes a monthly column in one of the Mags I get every month.

Was that not John Romano? And yes Romano pushed them under certain conditions and not as sight injections, for teenagers or as a aid to enhance the body beyond all size and strength limits as seen these days by the freaks we know and love. Under proper use and in healthy males, steroids are not the demon we are led to believe.

I'm probably wrong, I was just watching it thinking the guy in the documentary was the same guy from The Man Who's Arms Exploded. But yeah, they're definitely way better for you than a lot of those powders/pills out there that wreak havoc on your liver.

Doctors don't know shit about steroids because they are controlled substances now and no longer prescribed for non medical usage. Only some specialists get literature and product knowledge.

I had a buddy who was also in the competitive body building circuit, and he attested that dudes arms "exploding" due to a couple of other reasons, and not just the Steroids.
He suggested there's a silicone based Gel, that you can inject into the tissues of your arm, I'm not entire certain where, that you massag in and it creates a mass that isn't terribly harmful for your body, and causes you to look much more massive than you really are.
He suggested that it was more along the lines of *that* stuff than the roids that caused his arms to have a subdural hemotoma.
