What a steaming pile of crap. I hate EA Sports. I hate the NFL for selling the exclusive license. This is literally the same game from 2004 AND 2005. The Sega NFL2k/ESPN series was the best football game around. The online leagues alone were AMAZING!! Every league had its own website on ESPN.com, among other things. Madden doesn't even have an online league option. What a bunch of garbage. Not to mention the $19.99 price point last year. I'm glad I didn't waste my money on this, I rented it first. I'll stay with ESPN NFL 2k5, and NCAA Football 2006 (yeah it's an EA game, but at least it's good).

All I can say is thank GOD the NBA didn't sell exclusive rights. Sega better be able to make their college hoops game this year too, but I think EA bought the whole NCAA rights as a whole, and March Madness sucked! CURSE THEE EA SPORTS!

I still play Madden 2002, solely because I don't give a damn about update rosters, and Madden hasn't really changed at all since Madden 2002.

The only way I will buy it, is when the Xbox 360 comes out, the graphics I 've seen from it so far are nothing short of amazing. But that will probably be all that is amazing about it.

I bought Madden last year since they dropped the price to $19.99, and it was the same garbage from 2004.....I wont buy another one until PS3 drops.

NCAA football can still have my hard earned cash, but thats because I am a hick from Nebraska that likes me some Husker footbal.

Ea has ruined almost all the games I've enjoyed. I have been boycotting their products for 2 years now.

Tiger Woods, as with most EA products, is the ONLY golf sim around. And yeah it's not bad, I have the PSP version. Honestly though for online play Links 20003 or whatever for the Xbox was an awesome online golf sim. I don't think it works online anymore as I think the XSN network was closed. But it was very cool, with web based leagues and everything, it was awesome. Same with Top Spin, the greatest Tennis game ever made.

This is just another reason to dispise John Madden! The most annoying and overrated commentator to cover the NFL.

Madden is awesome!
"The quarterback's job is to pass the ball, and the receiver's job is to catch it. If that doesn't happen, someone is not doing their job."

I am amazed Pat Sommerall never committed suicide.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

Are you freaking kidding me?

Madden 2006 is an ENTIRELY different animal. The new quarterback vision thing is REALLY messing gameplans up and stuff like that. You can see now why lots of NFL coaches prefer to run the ball rather than pass it. Also, they made running easier than in 2005 (where it was damn near impossible), and the addition of hte "truck stick" helped a lot.

I'm sorry, man, but Madden 2006 is a pretty different game. And even if you think it didn't change that much, it was a pretty good game to begin with.

Granted, no online leagues or anything like that, but maybe that'll be up for next year?

The only thing I don't like about it is that "NFL superstar" mode; what a load of crap. I don't wanna be playing an RPG with football...

Online leagues??? Maybe next year??? This is something that 2K5 already had and mastered LAST year, now that they have the exclusive license, not having it is inexcusible.
