    Default Lukie and Wuf

    Generat.Iron.2013.720p.WebRip.x264-MiScBrUh (download torrent) - TPB

Here is the torrent for Generation Iron.

I know these two guys will like it, not sure of others that have followed the sport a little or a lot. It's this eras Pumping Iron movie

Is posting links like that on a public forum a good idea?

    Jack-high straight flush motherfucker
    Roelly is from around here

The dude is tiny, but has massive density. Too bad I haven't been following anything bodybuilding related in years, except maybe fitness olympia cameos

I don't get the sport. Nothing against it though
My dream... is to fly... over the rainbow... so high...

    Hey, I'm in a movie!

Most people don't get the sport at that level. I did like the way they exposed the personalities of these guys because like I said, the two top guys are the exact opposite of what I thought they were.

I haven't followed it nearly as closely since Ronnie Coleman won maybe his 4th or 5th.

I watched the first ten minutes and will likely finish it today. Honestly, bodybuilding lost its allure to me when the GH gut became a thing. Arnold will always be the all time greatest because he was the best of the pre-GH era, and that era will never return

Ya, as opposed to using excess Test to get bigger, most guys including amateurs are using Test just to keep the hormones normal and using so many other things to get huge now. GH isn't even a dangerous drug anymore, it's just causing the gut problems. I think GH will lose it's allure with the new types of genetic drugs being something new.

Also not a fan of the incredible hugeness and the incredible leanness. They say bodybuilding is about proportion, and I'll point out that they look disproportionately lean and disproportionately large. I think the sport grew out of a niche of audiences and judges who like the aesthetics of that sort of disproportion, and it has gone too far. It just strikes me as unappealing when these guys are so huge they can't walk right. Arnold became the iconic badass movie star partly because his physique did embody a decent interpretation of the perfect body, but these guys today aren't becoming as big of stars partly because they've gone too far

Ya, they aren't looking for the big score on movies and TV. Tehy make a ton of money as freaks. Doing public appearances, putting their image on supplements they can sell to idiot teenagers and sponsorship's for using the useless products is what is the payday now.

Do they actually make a ton of money? I heard years ago that they live near poverty with all the expenses they have in order to keep those physiques (drugs, trainers, food, etc). No truth to that then?

The top 10 or 20 guys make a living, some do very well. It's the guys chasing the dream that spend far more on the drugs and lifestyle than they can make doing it.

By lifestyle, you mean orange girls?

Yeah, I came to this thread expecting a good old hilarious photo collage of them having some wacky adventure, not unlike the koolmoe (I think they were his?) collages of back in the day.

I haven't watched it (yet) but professional bodybuilding is a joke and a disgrace IMO.

    Some random points...

    - The whole oddness and narcissism of it all

    - Physiques that only a tiny percentage of the population find desirable or attractive

    - The massive cocktails of drugs these guys are taking. Look at some of the massive former professional bodybuilders who are in their 40s or 50s. They look aged beyond their years... the ones who are still alive that is.

    - All the stupid training and diet comedy that comes from these people, who can do literally everything wrong and still be jacked and ripped. They pass down so much OCD stupidity to the public, etc etc

    - The disingenuous marketing of massively roided lifters to peddle (mostly) worthless and outrageously priced supplements.

I could go on and and on. I am and probably always will be big into fitness/lifting etc but I won't call myself a bodybuilder. One I'm a lifelong natural and two, I don't want to be associated with any of that nonsense.

Just to clarify, that's not meant as a slight to you and has nothing to do with the thread title, it's just something I've said before in general.

I know you don't mean to slight me. I just thought maybe you would like to see it.

I agree with these two things absolutely. It's one of the things I fight with people all the time about. The thoughts of how they should eat and what they should take is so far from reality. The most perfect example is the myth of eating every two hours and the amounts of protein required.
