So today (after working out  ) I went golfing with my buddy Kyle. We went to a pretty good course, and since I'm a member there, obv we got in free.
Anyways, there's just 2 of us so obv we have to get paired, we get paid with this fat guy namd Brent (not Brent Butt) who has tattoo's all over him and a bigass gut and right away im thinkin OMFG GANG. Also, he was golfing with his dad, who was a kindly old man and pretty good golfer.
Anyways to make a long story short, Doug (Brent's dad) invited me to his Texas Holdem home game he has every month, And I tell him sure why not. Anyways at the end of the round we shake hands and im about to get in my car and go home whne he pulls me aside for a second and I see his car.... Black, mafia, car. FUCK.
Basically, Doug (the kindly old man) is the PRESEDENT of the biggest gang of criminals/drug smugglers in Canada (Hells Angels).
Now for the question... +EV or -EV to go to the home game? High chance they suck, but high chance my testicles will get blown off by a 12 gauge shotgun if I win more then 1 month in a row.

I really don't think you have to worry about their poker game being like that one in the Sopranos with Silvio flipping out on you for doing well. And like someone said, the HA president doesn't need your measly poker stack. And if you're still worried just don't play draws, it pisses guys off when you hit those!

I did go... but they had some HARDCORE shit there, pretty much every drug under the roof. I stayed for a little while, we played .50/1 NLHE and surprisingly the game wasnt very soft. Lots of talk among them about fold equity, implied odds, etc, so they had a basic grasp of what to do. I stayed for about 3 hours, the guys house was HUGE but we were just in his game room. After I went home I didnt come back again though, it was just too much drugs, hostile atmosphere, etc... I made like $120 for my 3 hours.
Guys name was Doug and he was [according to my friend who has some gang connections] the president of the white rock chaptor of Hells Angles (the largest chapter in BC, one of the larger ones in Canada). And it showed with the huge house and ton of drugs thing.
Sorry the TR sucks, but it really wasnt as interesting as I hoped it would be
