From my understanding he agreed to do a flip for $1000 or something then backed out, along with backing out of various other bets/gambles. He doesn't have a very high word. When people called him out on it he said he didn't care and told them to go to hell, or something.

Yeah, that's basically what happened. He agreed to do a 5K flip but he didn't call the all-in because he had some garbage hand, then he went on 2p2 and was like I got you good, money means more to me than Internet friends and I'd do it again hahahaha. What goes around comes around.
