I hope I'm not stepping on any toes with this. It seems like there's a lot of talk and not much action going on, so I went ahead and created a tournament on PokerStars for Boondock. If people still want to set up another one on GamesGrid, etc., that's totally cool...I in no way intend for this to replace any other ideas that people were kicking around.
That being said...
LIVEBOON Benefit Tournament
Tuesday, August 16 at 9pm EST
Buyin: $10+1
To register for the tournament:
Log onto PokerStars
Go to the Tourney tab
Go to the Private tab
Look for "LIVEBOON Benefit Tournament"
Click "register"
Enter the password for the tournament: liveboon (all lowercase)
Donations:
Unfortunately there is no way to make donations mandatory. However, I humbly request that all ITM finishers donate at least 50% of their winning to BoondockSaint. (But 100% would be much better!)
Donations can be transferred to B00NDOKSAINT on PokerStars per this thread:
http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...ic.php?t=17020
Thanks all and I hope to see some of you there!

FYI, you can register at anytime. (There are currently 3 players registered.) This means that if you want to pump up the prize pool but will not be available to play for whatever reason, you can put in your registration now!

Thank you everyone for playing in the tournament - It was a huge success and made me some mad money. 30 people signed up making it a 300 prize pool and I got 349.27 in donations. TylerK broke it by not making the money and still donating $50. Thank you TylerK - I greatly appreciate it. Everton1878 also did not make the money and im not even sure if he played. But he also donated. Thanks Everton.
And a big thank you to all the money makers

I think we should set up one of these tournaments every other night. I'm sure we'd get enough participants to get boondock at least ~$200 every time we ran it.

I'm a GamesGrid member, and I'm sure they would be happy to set up a tournament for Boon & FTR if we ask nicely. Anything that'll bring more players onto the site!
