imagine loosing every one of your senses; no more sight, smell, audio, touch or taste.... everything will be blank. Like you're asleep without dreaming, only really thinking. incedently how would you think if you're born without these senses or you've lost your senses for so long and forget all our symbols [words/objects]
Loosing part of our senses causes amazing things to happen. a damaged area to one of the brains 30 visual areas results in a specific dissfunction with an aspect of their sight. For example damage to the certain area that judges motion will prevent the patient from detecting any motion [which way and how fast cars are travelling etc].
Someone who has damaged their connection leading from vision to emotion prevents them receiveing any emtion from visual stimuli - they'll see their mum and won't belive its their mum, just someone looking like their mum and sounding exactly like her. there is a very rare condition cotards syndrome whereby the patient claims theyre dead. ...this could be from all their senses' being disconnected to their emotion side of the brain.

yah Ive often thought about shit like this. Like what if the color you know to be blue, and I know to be blue, are two different colors, but we both where born viewing this color and beign told its blue. So what my eyes are seeing could be your pink however we would never ever know. Doesnt really have any deep rooted implciates.. just kinda crazy..

I've always thought about that. The exact same thing.
And other stuff in the original post.. If you are blind/deaf and cannot talk, how do you think without a language?

I think you damaged your visual area that results in disfunctions in spelling and grammar.
Interesting stuff, though. Although I must admit, I'm much more interested in language and the brain. Examine, for example, cases of patients with Broca's Aphasia and similar brain disfunctions, most of them centering around the Sylvian Fissure.

Today I almost fell out of my bed(lofted) and had a deep thought that if I were paralysed from the neck down I would probably kill myself, but even then I would need help.
