It comes out Tuesday, but I'm not getting it since my 360 got the red ring of death 2 weeks ago and I have to wait until Microsoft mails me a new one. Once I do though, we should get a game going since I'm sure I'll get sick of killing Triptanes over and over again since he sucks at FPSs and any video game for that matter (I can only imagine how badly I'm going to crush him when Guitar Hero 3 comes out next month).

I'll be all for it, but not as soon as Tuesday. I need to buy a 360 first and all my spending money is going towards moving this month. But I'm sure no one will be bored of it by then, I'll just suck nuts after no practise.

This weekend I'll be running through the campaigns of Halo 1 and Halo 2 with my roommate, whoever dies more times has to buy the copy of Halo 3 for our house....should be fun!

Ya I preordered legendary and my friend works at gamestop, and he has guaranteed me a copy. My friend is coming down from Dallas Friday for like four days so lots of basketball, flag football, and trying to beat Halo 3 campaign on legendary.
Multiplayer deathmatch too

I'm strongly considering buying a 360, not sure exactly how soon it will make financially. It would be for this game and bio-shock.

campaign is pretty fun with other people imo
multiplayer deathmatch is REALLY where it's at, for a week during the summer when the H3 beta was out Id bring my xbox over to my friends apartment and play halo for 5 hrs, fun fun fun

I've been owning in multiplayer...supposed to start the campaign later today with a friend. Woot! Feels good to finally be playing with something other than all the Halo 2 ubernerds.

I had a few kids tell me yesterday that they wouldn't be in school today because of the Halo 3 holiday.

I love my Wii to death. Metroid, Resident Evil 4 and Zelda are amazing. Can't wait for Mario and Smash Brothers. Bioshock looks omg though.

I got copy @ 12:08, we played 4 player deathmatch until 1:30 wehn my roomate got off work at Gamestop (he got a copy too) then we played 4 player campaign @ about 1:45 am. I pussed out at about 4 and handed the controller off to the odd man out, I woke up at about noon and they said they had beaten the campaign @ 6:45 am. We were playing on Heroic, I'm sure Legendary is hard as shit.
I played some team stuff with some friends today, real in and we were doing really well.
Wildbob should get his copy so i can own him on console FPS

wow i sent in my xbox 360 10 days ago and using UPS tracking thing, I saw that it got there last thursday. I called on sunday about the status of the repair and the woman said that I should call back later this week, so I just called today and the guy on the phone said that my FUCKING SYSTEM HASN'T GOTTEN THERE YET. This is fucking bullshit because I can see from UPS's site that the damn thing was delivered to the service center so WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK

Halo3 is basically the same game as halo2, only more weapons/vehicles and bigger maps.
Halo 1 was the best game ever and halo2/3 put this masterpiece to shame.

Yeah but only hardcore fans would do that, the casual gamer isn't going to be able to figure out how to get online with Halo 1.
And yes, multiplayer is the reason the series is as popular as it is now, you can't really debate that. Most people complained that the Halo 2 campaign wasn't that great but tons of people still play it even today. You think if there was no multiplayer anyone would be playing Halo 2 still?

I dont think anyone would still play halo2 without multiplayer.Campaign was really bad.
It would have been so much better if they didnt change anything about the psychics of halo1 or the weapons, but they just made it noobfriendly so anyone could kill other ppl easily.Bungie even said on their site while making halo 2 that they had soccermoms that were testing the game...

so basically I just said fuck it today and bought a new 360 which i'm going to sell when my old one comes back
Unfortunately, I can't get on XBox live since there was a car accident near me and it managed to take out all the internet and cable for the whole area. That's ok though since I was probably just going to play single player tonight anyway but I did want to play multiplayer for a little bit, oh well.
