The Poker reviews for the different online sites are a great idea. Unfortunately there are only 15 reviews. We have over 600 members. If everyone would just review the site they play at the most it could be a really useful tool to help the new players pick a room to play in. I recently added my party poker review. Lets get on it guys! I'm sure that if people are willing to do this then the sites some of you play at that aren't listed can be added. Post your review today!

Just did a review of UB and PokerStars.

Xianti - It seems that as of now we are limited to posting reviews of only the rooms that you have up there currently. Is there a way to make it so that we could post reviews of rooms that FTR has yet to create and official review page for? I know that i would do reviews for InterPoker and Paradise if that option were available. Just wondering.

If any of you would like to do a "Featured Review" for a poker room that we currently do not have a page for, we would be happy to create a new page for it and use your review as the main content. You would get name credit on the page, of course.

It would need to be in the same format as the other review pages:
- General Review and Information
- Software Interface/Usability
- Poker Room Action
- Customer and Technical Support
- Ease of Game, Ease of Making Money, Fish Rating
- Bonuses and Promotions

Included screenshots would be preferred.

If you would like to submit a full review for a new poker room, you may email it to webmaster@flopturnriver.com with the subject "Poker Room Review" and attach the screenshots if you have them.

Also, Eric has currently moved his game to Pacific Poker this past week, he's working on a review of that poker room for us.

I hear it's a real fish bowl. Lots of 6+ way flops in the ~2/4ish limit games. Although, cash-outs are slow there. Is multi-tabling allowed?

Eric, can you confirm this?

From speaking to Eric last night, Pacific Poker does NOT allow multi-tabling for any kind of tournaments, but i don't know about the ring games.

No multi-tabling at Pacific. Lots of multi-way pots. 4 way action at the river is not uncommon.

It is a fishbowl. You really have to modify your game to play well there. There are always several people running you down when you hold TPTK, so you have to be able to lay it down if the board gets ugly.

I initially complained about their cashouts, but have gotten used to the fact that they take 5-7 days. I've done 12 cashouts there and have gotten all 12 of them in 5-7 days without a problem.

Lack of hand histories, especially now that I use Poker Tracker is a real downside. Their server also seems to go down quite a bit, especially in the middle of large MTT's.

I'm in 150, out 547 at Pacific for a profit of +400. I've been playing there since September 1st, and you know how I play. Passive play with good drawing hands seems to work for me there. Aggressive play works too, but you have to know when to back down.

I made most of this playing .25/.50 limit ring, .50/1.00 ring and 5.00 5 man SNG's.

I would definitley check them out. Deposit 50.00 and they give you a 25.00 signup bonus. If you use a referal from someone else, like FTR, then FTR gets 50, you get 25, plus you get 25% deposit bonus on top of that. SWEET.

The lower limit 1/2 and below is absolutely horrible.

They ahve a 10 pm $10,000 Guarnteed tourney. $15 buy-in $1.50 fee.
I believe its the cheapest 10k on the net. can't pass that up.

I've seen it as low as 300 people, and as high as 650

Yes, I can confirm that a lot of the players on Pacific suck. In the 10 player tournaments you could do a Phill Hellmuth and sit out the first 20 hands or so only to find that a few people disappear really early.

I don't like the interface, it seems like the cards are dealt out really slowly. I heard that you can't cash out the bonus right away so I tested it out by pulling out last night. The interface let me take everything but I called support and they said it takes a few days to clear. It will be interesting, I deposited $300, got a $75 bonus and cashed out with $377, we'll see if they let me take the $75 this early(I've only played in 5 tournaments). They were all $5 + .50 except for one $10 + 1.00. Here were my finishes:
1st tourney: don't remember(6th or 7th I think)
2nd tourney: 4th
3rd tourney: 3rd
4th tourney: 1st
5th tourney: 6th

I'll write up some more when I do the formal review. It sucks that they don't have cash NL games. I don't like getting rivered in limit so I'll stick to NL tourneys if I keep playing there.

Do you have an update on this Eric. How did the cashout go. I heard you can deposit the 400 and get the 100 bonus then just withdraw the 400 the next day and play with the 100 for free - then its all risk free money. Thats probably what I'll do incase I start out on a really bad run.

I can confirm that you can deposit, cash out the deposit, then just play on the bonus money. I don't think they will let you cashout the bonus without wagering 20X the bonus first. Who cares? It's a freeroll at that point.
