Shouldn't you include leggo in the list of sites we aren't supposed to compare cr to?

No more doomswitch for all cr members?

That might be worth signing up for in it itself.

thank you, I was thinking this earlier when I read it on 2+2

how in the world does CR afford to pay a guy with his background?

Let's go out on a limb and say 1000 people a year will join their site at an average $200 a pop, that's $200,000 in revenues. They employ a marketing director, Lee Jones, an office assistant and I assume several website designers/technicians. I don't get it. There are like 6-8 main pros I think (going off of the Full Tilt/Card Runners relationship). Seems like it'd be hard to make any dough individually.

Lets say 10,000 members paying $25/month (or whatever it is at the moment). That's alone $250,000 revenue a month with little overheads. I think its pretty much a cash cow.

There are 18 pages x 50 blogs alone. Most of these have been at least updated since last Oct.

Also, don't forget about advertising + affiliate revenue.

Still, how big can they really grow?
