Not only did Kimbo get himself toasted by Petruzelli in 14 seconds.
Not only is EliteXC's parent company closing its doors, and filing for chapter 11 protection.
But now it's turning out that Petruzelli may have been offered additional incentives if he were to simply trade punches with Kimbo instead of employing a more technical strategy.
This begs the question: Did the cut appear above the other contenders eye (the dude who dropped out) because he didn't want any part of of the "punch trading strategy incentive"? In a self-inflicted manner?
People could end up in prison over this. Wild.

and thank christ this fucking media circus is over. elitexc was more or less a joke, but there is some talent that will probably be making its way over to ufc. which is completely fine with me.
my biggest problem with elitexc is that it may have given people who never watched mma before the wrong fucking idea about it. fuck gary and jared shaw.
