Every morning its the same damn thing. I go and grab the cat's dish to feed her, and the fuckin thing wraps around my feet almost tripping me 11 times while I'm getting it ready. Of course the whole time she's 'meao'ing like I've forgotten that she's there and I need to feed her. It's annoying as shit. So tell me FTR, what should I do?

my cat does the same thing but he's awesome so I have learned to live with it. nothing to worry about really, your cat is just excited to be fed.
we've at least taught our cat not to fuck with us until one of us actually gets out of bed. he's to the point now that he'll wait on the edge of the bed until one of us throws back the covers to get up, at which point he superman dives off to the floor and sprints to his dish. he meows his ass off until the food hits his dish, but I just look at it like he's saying, "FUCK YEAH, BREAKFAST!" I mean, isn't that what everybody says/thinks right before they eat breakfast? ha

UPDATE: The threat of kicking the kitty worked just as well. She stopped hanging around my feet in the morning, and just waits by her spot for her food, and her meaoing seems much more "excited" now. (thanks UG) And LOL at 2 people "strangling softly"
