Hey fellas, anyone need a part-time job? I'm looking to hire someone to help me with certain tasks involving FTR. Your work would consist of writing articles on poker strategy and poker concepts (at whatever level you are comfortable with), updating current content on FTR such as poker room reviews, and also re-writing current pages to be used on other websites outside of FTR.
You would also be helping me with search engine optimization tasks such as creating html/php pages, working with social networking/bookmarking sites, link management, and other tasks.
You must be able to write well and devote a minimum of 10 hrs a week. I don't need a resume, you don't need to put on a tie and come in for an interview. You get to work wherever, whenever. But this is a serious job, and I expect it to be taken seriously. You must pay extreme attention to details and make quality the most important aspect of your work (this should go without saying). If I end up firing you for sucking ass, you'll also most likely be banned from FTR for life
Ok, but on the cool side - you'll be working on and for FTR, a place where you waste away hours anyways, but now you get paid. You'll be involved with poker, the online poker industry, and gain insights on internet marketing - all much more fun and interesting than making cold calls, delivering pizzas, dealing with irate customers, or working the mail room.
We have a couple positions open, but they will be slightly different depending on the response and your qualifications.
Interested? If so, email me directly at ttanaka at flopturnriver.com. Please let me know the number of hours you are interested in working per week, what your current status is - student, unemployed, employed part time, employed full time, your level of education, and where you are located. I may have some follow up questions for you and will ask you to write some kind of short article to review your level of writing.
Ok, ttyl.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

how much does it pay? Can I get my deposits directly onto my P-Stars account?

The older I get, the more I start wondering; Just what in the hell is going on here?

Yes, payment via PStars is fine and pay will depend, but can be discussed via email.

I suck at HTML but I'm bomb at finding sites and bookmarking them.
I sent out a feeler e-mail also.. I think I could get like 15 hours a week, and write articles! they could be called "Ragnar4's guide to gettin' stacked at 10nl" it would be great!

No, being a mod isn't a paying job.
It's more of a privilege... or something like that.
This is more like a real job, helping out with the behind-the-scenes chores of FTR - and there are a lot.
Getting a lot of responses so I'll be closing this down shortly. First come, first serve, if I think you'll work out.
LOL at 1 spade.

I have limited poker skills and disappear sometimes for extended periods of time without warning... but I can turn anything into an analogy involving snack foods, track down obscure forums solely because they serve my argument and use more and better than anyone else.
Plus will work for coaching...
So lemme know if the first 47 don't pan out.
