kick ass, I cant wait.
Its weird how movies are now mimicking video games heh. Do you seriously think this woulda come about without GTA: Vice city... I mean that game made a HUGE audience for this movie.

Ummmm... you DO know that a lot of GTA: Vice City was lifted from the original 80s TV series, right?

yes yes, well it was inspired, but I mean there are LOTS of influences on that game. Scarface is probably a bigger one then miami vice, it just has vice in the name, and his partner early on is balck. But anyways, my point is that wihtout the game the audience for this movie wouldnt be nearly as big. That game kinda made us (even people who dont remember it ) reminisent of that era...

LOL, Boost...
I'm sure GTA: Vice City helps, but c'mon, that's not why they're making the movie. I don't recall seeing "The Dukes of Hazzard" game, "The Brady Bunch" game, "The Starsky and Hutch" game, or any number of other games based on TV shows that spawned full-length movies.
Miami Vice became a movie because Miami Vice kicked ass back in the day.

Does this mean bright pink and blue shirts with even brighter white sportscoats with huge shoulderpads are back in style?!!Yes, I knew keeping those things would pay off one day!!!!!

I was excited for this as well. I went to see King Kong today and there were a few previews that looked good. Miami Vice, Final Destination 3 and a new Denzel Washington movie call 'inside job' or something like that. That one didn't look as good as the other two but I'm a big Denzel fan so I'll go see it anyway.

There is a Dukes of Hazzard game... and now they made a Dukes of Hazzard movie... I guess I never noticed the connection before.

I still play GTA Vice City for fun. Even though I already beat the game twice over now, it's still a great time because of the non-linear gameplay and the 'world' that reacts to what you do.
