So as some of you may or may not know. I hate my phirosophy crass and rarery go. I'm asian so if they are not tarking about confucious. I don't rearry understand their white man tark. Here is my topic and if you wourd rike to herp me prease feer free to post ITT. If you wourd rike to do this paper we can reach an agreement on what you wourd rike in return for your varuabre time. Topic: Descartes’ Meditations
Length: 4-5 pages
Details which must be included: Why doesn’t knowledge from experience (science) give us a solid foundation? How and why does Descartes hope to discover a foundation that is solid? To answer this question you will need to discuss the dream conjecture and the evil genius conjecture. Why does he need the evil genius conjecture? Why is the mere possibility of these conjectures being true enough for Descartes’ argument? What is the solid foundation which Descartes thinks he has found? How does Descartes prove the existence of God? To answer this question you will need to discuss two things. One, why does he differentiate our ideas into three different types? And, two, how does he use the idea that a cause must be greater than its effect. How does he refute the idea that God is a deceiver? Is his refutation convincing? Why or why not? Do you think he succeeds in his skeptical arguments? Why or why not? Do his skeptical arguments go too far? Why or why not? Do you think he succeeds in proving the existence of God? Why or why not? Do you think it is possible for us to have knowledge which is not derived from experience? Why or why not?
