I've decided since im pretty much hijacking Ensign's thread i might as well make my own for sports bettors who need information on balitmore. I've been a fan of them since 1996 and am a sports addict, so you're going to get quality information. I'll give one of four rating to the game: 1. Gogogogogo: Pick this, i am sure my pick is correct. 2. Lukewarm: If you were already thinking about it you have my endorsement 3. Pool cold: I'm not sure enough to make a solid pick, so just use my analysis. 4. Hell froze over: I really have no idea wtf is going to happen in this game. Tonight April 27th(right?) Friday: B-more is playing Cleveland tonight, at cleveland. Indians have been doing well, and westbrook while doing badly this season had a good last start. Last time B-more faced westbrook as i remember they killed him, so i think they have an advantage here with good history against westbrook. Trachsel has been doing surprisingly well as a starter, so I'd expect at least a decent start from him facing a good cleveland lineup. So right now my pick is. Lukewarm: Baltimore wins. I'll keep my record throughtout the season so people no whether to trust me or not. 0-0 |

Tommorow we have bedard vs sowers: Bedard has done badly this year, but he was very good last year. I suspect the line is going to have nice odds for the O's. They are struggling right now and haven't scored tons of runs. Bedard is going to get a strech of good ones going sometime soon, the problem is i haven't heard of him making any adjustments. We will see how he does. Sowers is not doing great this year and the O's have been doing well versus lefties this year. I think this is the game they break out of their slump. Cleveland has been doing well but i really think the O's are going to steal this one (And no im not being a homer) I'm decently confident about this one, but im going to give myself an upper because there really aren't any sure things coming up. Yay!!! called a gogogogo and did it, very proud. Next game: So we have Wright vs Carmona. Carmona is a really young guy who's a righty. Wright is coming off the DL but didn't have any good starts for the O's yet. Idk of the O's are breaking out of their slump or not, clearly Hernandez is a great addition to the lineup coming off the DL. I can really see this game going both ways. Either the O's score a bunch of Carmona or the Indians just kill Wright. I'm going to go with Hell froze over in this one. I've decided to get rid of pool cold because luke warm and pool cold are too similar. Prediction: Indians win Gogogogogogo - 1-0 Luke Warm - 0-1 Hell froze over - 0-0 |

Meh im pissed at myself at that one, because i felt like it was more of a lukewarm. The only thing that made me even envision the O's winning was scoring a lot of runs, which wasn't increbibly likely. But hey hindsight is 20/20. Tommorrow: DCab versus Bondermen. This is really going to be a pitching duel. Bondermen has been great versus us, but DCab has also been awesome this season. O's are slumping in hitting, while Detroit is at least solid right now. Really it's pretty obvious that detroit is the pick. If the odds are hugely in favor of detroit id give the O's a look. I'm pretty in between gogogogogo and lukewarm here, I can see the O's doing well but there hitting is still slumping so im going to wait until they get hot to give them a chance versus bad end of pitching matchups. Alright really happy (and unhappy) lol with my pick last night, im really making good picks and not being a homer. Tommorrow: Loewen versus Durbin. I really this is a turn around game for the O's. Right now they are the favorite in the pitching matchup but loewen has been bound to blow up. The o's are the easy pick but they are playing too bad right now to be too sure. Wow called that game perfectly. Bedard pitches well, but hitting is slumping too much so i cant go with a lock. Wow really proud of this one. Saturday: Alright, we have Cabby vs Sowers. Cabby had a horrible game last time but he's been solid so far. Sowers we did okay with last time. Yay! Perfect analysis. Next Game: Alright we have Burres going who is a rookie who's started once and has done okay. I feel like that he'll do okay, something like 6 and 4 runs. Sabathia has been doing great, but hasnt dominated us in the past. Right now it should be obvious that cleveland should be a huge favorite, so i can't NOT pick them, but im gonna give it a lukewarm, cuz i feel like the line may get ridiculous in favor of cleveland. Another perfect pick from me, the O's could've had this one if it wasn't for great fielding from the indians and birkins not being a tool. Next Game: Carmona vs Trachsel. Trachsel continues to be good so we can expect a decent outing. Carmona killed us last time but I think we're going to get some off him this time since it was our first time seeing him last time as a starter. He's also one of those tall inconsistant guys and we're still at home. Our bats have also shown some life. I'm going to say LukeWarm O's win, that's kind of a strech, but i want to make some strech picks. Should you bet on O's?: Right now Cleveland is barely the favorite, so I'd say if you have inclination for the O's go for it but otherwise I'd not take the bet, the line seems perfect IMO. Just for fun so sports bettors can have good analysis on the O's games and also just to see how I did. Yay! Seriously i just had no idea who'd win so lucky guess. Next Game: Bedard vs Shields. Bedard maybe can work of his last start but nonetheless he's been inconsistent. Shields ive never heard of, he's a young guy who's been thrown around the league but has done great this year. I have a feeling the O's are going to be a heavy favorite, but I'm not going to pick them. This one is tough for me but bedard has been so inconsistant and the hitting still isn't doing well that I can easily envision a loss. Should you bet on the Rays?: Yeah, I'd say it'd be a good pick depending on what the line is. I mean the rays are +130, which seems decent, so if you feel inclined I'd go for it. But the x factor here is the fact that the O's for some dumb reason can't hit fossum. So while I'm going to pick the O's, im going to put it at lukewarm where it should be an obvious gogogogo. I'm guessing Vegas won a lot of money off that game b/c of ppl thinking like you did ISF. It's not a knock on you, it's a compliment to the house. It's why Vegas wins more than just the juice, b/c the public is impulsive and thinks they have an edge against the oddsmakers who do this for a living.
