eclipsejeff suggested I check out IRC, but when I click the link, I get IRC is not a registered protocol. Can anyone help me out so I can get into IRC? I know jack about protocols. This maybe should have been sent as a PM, but I thought there would be enough people out there that could answer for me that I might not have to wait for a pm reply. Will there be instructions for protocol configuration when i download, or do I need to do something else before following the instructions in the sticky.

Read the sticky, it explains how you download a client and set it up. Few browsers have built in support for the irc protocol. So you use an external program instead.

Anyone know how to get connected to IRC through my wireless connection to a router? No one has yet figured it out.
