we just got an iPOD nano, my brother has been using my computer to put CD's into his iPOD library, can I use his Library to put songs on my iPOD, he says NO, it will erase all the song on the library?
These songs are all uploaded from CD's I own?

oh, should I return the 4gig for the 8 gig? its only $50 more.

i've used other people's ipods with my itunes library and my ipod with other people's libraries and nothing has ever been erased. as to whether or not you should get the 8gb...well, do you run or anything like that with your ipod cuz if not then i think it'd be a crime to pay $200 for 8gb when you could pay $250 for 80gb with the classic ipod.
if he absolutely doesn't want you to use his itunes then just download sharepod. i've used it a bunch in the past, and it works great and it's free. here's the link. http://www.sturm.net.nz/website.php?...&Page=Sharepod

thanks for the help, his library is on my Computer so it shouldnt be a problem with him, he doesnt even live here any more finally!!
I think my wife was hoping to be able to play videos on it. I just wanted it for music when i ride my mountain bike.
It will suck when I crash and destroy her $200 toy
