hey guys, im looking to buy and unlock a 3g iphone. Probably getting a used one, don't want/need the 3g plan. I was thinking of getting a 2G, but i figured in a year or two the resale will be ~0 whereas the 3g might have some resale value, unless there is a major update from 3g. also, i live in canada and our data rates suck, i might opt to go for the 3g plan when our rates become reasonable / a good plan becomes available (I pay ~$55/mo just on a voice/text plan).

My question, i can buy said iphone, have it unlocked/jailbroken or just unlocked, slide in my sim and business as usual?
