So I decided to wait for the new iPhone to come out. I'm pretty happy i did. Better camera and battery and its faster. Definitely not the big jump that happened last year but yeah. Anyways, if anyone knows ive been trying to find out if the old 3G cases will fit the 3GS. im pretty certain its the same size and form. I'm planning to have a case or skin before i buy it because i know with my luck ill scratch it or something in the day or two i don't have a cover

 All the firmware upgrades will be available for the 3g too. Idk that if you have one it really pays to upgrade. The web browser is amazingly fast as it is.

So all you really get is a slightly better camera... a better processor apparently, and slightly better battery life and a compass.
I'm absolutely blown away by the processor as it is. I don't really feel like there's an upgrade in order.
And if you need a faster webbrowser - with a bit of luck you'll be able to install opera mini with the coming firmware upgrade this summer
