 So, zook did this a few weeks ago. I thought it was a good idea. When I started posting on FTR I stayed away from the community and what-not but I have been sucked in. So it's ridiculous because I have over 500 posts, but here's my introduction:

School and Work:
I'm 26 and I just got my Mater's degree in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University. My focus is computer vision (image processing), I also had course work in random processes, estimation, signal processing, a little bit of controls, and some linear algebra.

I got my undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati. I focused in communications. My H&S was in Econ and Philosophy. I co-oped with a filter design company and worked with them for 2 years total.

I have to start looking for a job, my desire list right now:
1) Austin, TX (with National Instruments)
2) Denver, CO
3) San Diego, CA
4) Seattle, WA (although with the f-d up legislation maybe not)
5) Phoenix, AZ (only if I get a high paying job

Hobbies and Interests:
I play ultimate a lot now, I played a lot of disc golf in Cinci. I basically like participating in all sports.

I was born and in raised in Akron so I love the Browns and the Cavs. I stopped following baseball about 3 years ago.

{EDIT: Tribal Wars, damn that game is addicting}

Poker:
I started playing poker about a year ago. A buddy had a Holdem game in Cinci. I was going to hang out with friends, but didn't want to be totally clueless. I did a search for "Learn texas holdem" and found FTR (and another site with no forum). I played some playMoney SnGs because the ring games sucked and read a lot. I ended up on Absolute and have 1.3 million play chips there. By this time I realized poker could be very profitable and something I could get good at. I've stuck with SnGs because that's where I learned. I deposited $25 on stars and right now have $350.

I need a poker goal because I have nothing to do for the next month besides poker, tribal wars and job searching. I am going to play $4-180 man tourneys all weekend, because I feel like it. I will probably start casino whoring on Monday.

Well, that was long and probably uninteresting. Oh well.

X, whenever you want to do that interview I'm down.

In highschool I did the uner-cut grunge thing where my hair was shaved up to the top of my head, and that hair was about shoulder length had that for 4 years. One day I got in my car and I couldn't move my head because my hair was pinned to the seat. I decided no guy should ever have that problem and cut them off less than a week later. Here's two pics:
