Hey guys,
The interviews for the WCOOP events have been really lining up, coming up we have RainKhan, Badgerpro (thank you for the questions there), Possibly the winner of Wcoop #5, and....
Bill Ivey, who recieved 5th in WCOOP Event #5 for $100,000.
Unfortunately not the screen name of Phil Ivey, BI is a young guy named Lee Gaines, who is a midstakes cash game professional who has moderate success in tournaments. As we saw from samh133's win, the cash game players are having a ton of success with such a deep stacked format.
If you guys could, please write down any questions you'd like to ask him. Obviously, I am going to ask all the basic questions, so although all questions are welcome, interesting and unique questions are even more welcome!
Thanks for the help guys.

-As a cash game player how much of your time is spent on ring games as opposed to tournaments? How much of your bankroll?
-Do you play shallow stacked tournaments like the WSOP $1,000 NL Holdem (not the $10,000 main event which is deeper)?
-How many total WCOOP events are you entering?
-How do you like your chances in the main event on Sep 30?

There was nothing wrong with your question, Sauce's question was clearly a joke though. I'm thinking I misunderstood you somehow.
I work for FTR. My current job is covering the WCOOP.
And really please guys, there's really no point in me making these threads if no one is going to take it seriously besides Eric I might as well just email Eric and not make these threads. I appreciate all the help I can get, but if you don't want to help I just won't make these threads. Just tell me this is the case. I know you don't owe me anything.

These 3 questions can be merged/diced/spliced however anyone feels like mering/dicing/splicing them.
How much tournament theory/strategy did you learn for these events?
What did you find the most prominent in your thought process? Tournament-specific knowledge or general poker-wide knowledge?
What kind of edge, if any, do you feel that being mainly a cash player gave you over the players who only play tournaments?

- I know you're a 6-max cash player, how much did you have to adjust your play for tournaments? Was it completely different, or did the stack depth help a lot?
- Everyone hates those shortstackers in cash games, but do you think their presence in cash games helped you in this tournament?
- Do you play tournaments a lot?
- Have you met any FTR guys?
