I'm checking the latest from the "sexy thread" and some of the guys are talking about instrumental music and it reminded me of this...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EJ6wGxzmb4
I've never been into instrumental music much before but this I think is some good shit. Anyone else know stuff like this? And this is just the music from a rap song (not as good with the words imho). And yes I heard it from the popper on So you think you can dance.

Ya, post-rock instrumental is the shizzle. My additions:
http://www.myspace.com/youslut1 These guys are great, some odd time signature stuff, but mostly just nice riffage like Mogwai or Pelican
http://www.myspace.com/cariboumanitoba There are vocals in this, but not too many, it's mostly instrumental. Plus i saw them live at a festival recently and their drummer is unreal, it was fills and rolls, I came a little.
In other news, acoustic guitars are for homosexuals

Yah. Didn't sing or anything, just played. I thought this might get dull but it didn't at all.
At one point he pulls out a harp guitar (a normal acoustic with harp strings added above it). He starts playing the fucking acoustic with one hand and then the harp bit with the other hand. I saw it and I still don't believe it!
