One's in my current industry, financial services, at a stock brokerage and the other is a HVAC sales job. I didn't realize how much money HVAC salespeople made until a guy I know who works for the same company told me about it.
One word of advice I'd give to any young guy that wants to make a lot of money and isn't in a traditional profession like law or medicine: go into sales. You'll always have a job and you can make a fortune in the right field.

Damn, I posted twice and forgot the reason for the thread. I'm at work, reading FTR and posting, most of the day. In two hours I head home, pick up my kid, make dinner, wait for the wife to come home, sit on my ass and wait for them to go to sleep, play poker till midnight. Then i do it all agian tomorrow.
By the way, notice that nobody mentioned playing in the Gauntlet.

I've been at school (actually, architecture studio) all night long, basically not doing my work.
The highlight of my day was when i entered a 10+1 rebuy on full tilt that only had 45 players and paid 6.
Pretty much no one was rebuying, so i played pretty tight and didn't gamble much. I still managed to somehow spend 90 dollars including the addon (lol only 2/3 of the players even took it), and still only started the second hour with 4800 chips. So basically i was in shitty shape to even cash this thing, which would have me still down around five dollars (if i took 6th).
So i was like fuck this sucks.
Then first hand after the break i picked up KK in the BB and im like omg, so this player minraises to 240 in middle, and i think and threebet to 720, he instashove for 80% of my chips, i instacall and he has AA. I flop a flush draw and then brick the turn/river.
So then im like last in chips. Anyway to make a long story only semi-long, i ended up chipping up huge and then getting short again when it was the bubble, but somehow i managed to make 3rd despite not catching cards at all. So I cashed for like 220, GG WP and etc.
Now im tired as hell and am waiting for my professor to talk to me so i can sneak out and go home to crash.

Then i took my laundry to a wash and fold place cause im lazy and dont like to do it and the gf is slackin. Lost a few hundred playing cards so far, think im going to take the dog for a walk now, and watch somebasketball tonight, maybe pack for nyc since i leave tomorrow. I just got home from a super boring day at work, and the wife has started re painting the room I just painted last year, a new color. But I'm not mad, so long as I don't have to paint.
Checking emails, Dinner is going to be ready soon. same old, same old. Now to mix things up, I think I'll go chew on some tin foil!

I am about to make plans for a road trip from PA to Vancouver in late March. I've never been cross country/continent in a car before, so maybe it'll be fun!
After that I need to go buy food because I have none in my house. Then I get to tutor for $35/hour. After that I'll come home, make client calls til 9 pm, and then donk off $100 or so playing stupid Lee Jones rigged donkaments on Stars.

I'm in a good mood after a good wines tasting class, lifting session, and a great tivoed soccer match of barca vs liverpool. Liverpool pulled it out 2-1 away at nou camp.
Now I'm cooking a digourno pizza (I want to see if it's that good), watching future cars on discoery channel, and planning on reading some environmental economics and maybe a little investment analysis reading.
I'm kinda bummed because all my friends seem to have exams tomorrow. I want to go out.

Today was decent. I woke up extremely early to hit up the gym before my early midterm this morning. I wake up and remember that I actually have a section meeting for a history class at 930. I scramble to get there in time and find out it has been cancelled. It turns out being okay because this cute girl in my class walks in at the same time. So we talk for a bit then I bounce out and study for my midterm.
My midterm was pretty much a success. It was in intermediatte macroeconomics I finished quickly and am confident. Last time I was confident as well but pulled the lowest C- possible.
Went out and did some chores, got a hair cut, bought myself a new Oakland Athletics hat.
Attended another class, skipped one class and here I am bullshitting around online while watching the white rapper show. I gotta represent for my boy mike brown from Davis, he really can rip a flow. He destroyed dude in Detroit on the stage.
Later tonite I will go to my weekly cash game. Hopefully I can make some good plays and take home some cash.

I just did some homework. Compressible flow through a converging-diverging nozzle with normal shock waves, using the Quest method to translate from the body fixed frame to an inertial fixed frame and some boring structures problems.
Then smoked the hookah and watched VT crush BC.

the hookah is smoking tobacco, I'm somewhere older than 18. All on the up and up.
The flavor was peach, by the by.

I've been trying all day to get my 3 month old to sleep. She's finally resting peacefully, and I am off to bed.
I think I'm going to be getting a new job soon.
I smoked a hookah once in a bar with some half naked female Army airborne medics in DC while some lesbians tried to pick up my wife. That story sounds like it would make a pretty good thread, but that's pretty much all there is to it.

Well it's the old man's 50th today, so I'll probably go and have a few beers with him, I bought him some DVD boxset, he'll be cool with that.
I haven't seen him for a couple of weeks which is pretty bad but meh.
Then I'll probably go and play some football (or soccer :/) in the evening.
Somewhere in between I'll look to clock 1000 hands.

I vote Warpe as the best poster in this thread.
What I did today, slept in. Sat around with the gf for a few hours. Drove her to work. Talked with my business partner on MSN about some thing we're gonna get going. Played poker for a few hours. Made $800 on two tables in like 3 hours at 100NL. Some high rollers may scoff at my little victory but it has been a SHITTY week poker-wise. Nice to see some light again...
Now I'm watching Sopranos and eating some pork steak marinated in mesquite. I burned it a little and that made it taste fucking awesome.

Today I found a 60gig iPod just laying on the sidewalk downtown, with nobody in the area, so it didn't just get lost. This worked out perfectly for me because I don't have an iPod yet but was thinking about getting one (sucks for whoever lost though). Really good music collection on it also.

If you like hookah haven't tried Cardamom, I'd highly recommend it. It's sounds weird for a shisha flavor, but it actually works really well. It's my favorite flavor. Mango is probably my second favorite.

Ive had rose gellato once, it didnt taste like much.
I went to get my passport today. I got denied. She said I needed proof of travel. I want a passport for the spring / summer. Im buying a 600$ one way ticket to canadia because its refundable. Also I had a "moment" with this girl on the train, she was really cute, we kinda met eyes and smiled, all of that corney shit. The train quickly got really pakced though and I kinda got pushed back, then my stop came. Kinda wish I just started talking to her from the get go, but I waited and lost the chance. When I got off she looked out hte window and gave me that cute smile again. Oh and I made 266$ in the session I played before going to the passport office.
